The ACT attempts to weather its own cheating scandal

7/28/2016

Not to be outdone by the SAT...

The ACT now has its own cheating scandal. Similar to the SAT scandal I wrote you about in April, this involves Asian countries and test-prep companies operating there.

But even more embarrassing is that the cheating has been happening in a program that the ACT itself administers!

Reuters has also found widespread cheating by Chinese students when they're actually at college.

Not great news for students who are playing by the rules.

I just hope colleges aren't turning a blind eye to this stuff since admitting as many full-price-paying foreign students as possible seems to be the goal at many schools.
