I reached out to Vince after taking my first official practice GRE, knowing I had my work cut out for me. As an active-duty service member, I was ten years removed from higher education, I had forgotten how to study and retain the kind of information this test demands, and I needed to make serious progress toward my goal of getting admitted to an MBA program.
I did some research, contacted Vince, and never looked back. His experience in the GRE realm is evident. He knows the test, he knows the process, and he knows students, no matter where they are in their journey.
He has built his own proprietary coursework, apps, and communication channels, and he was always quick to respond to any question or concern. Vince was transparent about realistic results and helped manage my expectations while supporting me through the work. Nothing replaces doing the work yourself, but I promise you Vince knows the most efficient way to get you there.
I struggled with quant and verbal fundamentals, time management, testing strategy, test anxiety, and pretty much every other obstacle that could inhibit performance. Vince had a targeted approach for each one and talked me through them all, working around a full-time military schedule that gave me no room to waste. I started below a 310 and finished above a 320.
What set Vince apart was everything around the studying. He flexed sessions around a training schedule and travel that left me no consistent routine, and when exam attempt came back below what we wanted, he reset the plan instead of the goal.
He helped me decide when to retake, what to target each time, and when the number was good enough to stop. That score went into five Round 1 applications at top programs. If you are a working professional, a service member, or anyone starting further back than you would like, Vince is your guy.
Once I understood how much this endeavor would require, and how much the results mattered to me, choosing Vince was the best decision I made in the process. I could not be more grateful.

"I highly recommend Vince for GRE prep! I signed up for his personalized study plan after trying to get started on GRE studying on my own for a few weeks. Vince was super helpful. He helped me develop a study plan that worked with my schedule and provided a ton of material (including his GRE Verbal course). He was attentive and provided useful feedback and tips throughout my studies. After 2-3 months of studying with Vince, I took the GRE and was thrilled to see that my score went up significantly." - Mariah B. (see our Google reviews)
A GRE Study Plan Designed for You
Accountability and structure = less stress and more efficiency.
Maybe it's obvious, but to prepare well for the GRE you need a plan - there are lots of components to the test, and just diving into practice can be extremely inefficient. The average person gets a lot of things a little bit wrong in the process. This is true whether they're taking the test for the first time or studying for a GRE retake.
But if you're following a study plan you've found online, you may be realizing the plan is hard to keep up with. Certain tasks in the plan may be difficult for you. Or perhaps you've already followed a study plan, taken the GRE, and now you need to retake the test to get a higher score. Or maybe, like many people, you're busy, overwhelmed, and/or anxious about all of this.
Just like anything that is one-size-fits-all, GRE study plans do not work for all people, and certainly are not optimized for YOU and your unique situation. This is why I've created a personalized GRE study plan. Even a good plan is only a recipe, though, as I explain in What Most GRE Advice Gets Wrong.
How It Works
We'll meet via Zoom and create a complete schedule with daily and weekly to-dos for math, verbal, and essays that is based on your unique situation and goals. After we meet, I'll email you a list of your tasks for the first week.
You'll be in touch with me a few times a week to tell me what you've done, so we're always on the same page and so you have accountability.
I update the plan as you go based on your progress. Plus, if we're using a GRE platform like Gregmat or Magoosh, I weed out all kinds of unnecessary content - this alone saves you dozens of hours of work.
With my study planning, you'll be getting the best possible advice on what to do each week until you're 100% done with the GRE, even if you take it more than once - the plan lasts for as long as you need it to.
Note: this is a serious plan for serious people. That means it has to be a priority for you to the tune of at least 90 minutes a day, and preferably more like 2-3 hours. You might be able to get away with less than that if you're very disciplined, but people who do well with this stuff typically can put in that kind of time.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from a free GRE study plan I can find online?
A free GRE study plan is a generic template. It doesn't know your starting score, test date, schedule, weak areas, or which platforms you're using. This plan is built around your situation in a 45-minute Zoom meeting, then updated weekly based on how you're actually doing, with check-ins along the way. Vince also cuts the unnecessary content from platforms like Gregmat and Magoosh, which saves you hours.
What happens after I sign up - step by step?
After signing up, Vince contacts you to schedule a 45-minute Zoom planning session. In that session you'll build a complete schedule with daily and weekly tasks for math, verbal, and essays. After the meeting, Vince emails you your first week's tasks.
You check in a few times a week to report progress, and Vince updates the plan accordingly. The plan continues for as long as you need it, including through any retakes.
How long does the plan last?
For as long as you need it, through your first test date and any retakes. There's no expiration and no set number of weeks. Vince keeps guiding you until you're done with the GRE.
Can I add private tutoring to the study plan?
Yes. Some students start with the plan and add tutoring if they hit a plateau or want faster progress on a specific section. The 10-hour tutoring package includes the personalized study plan.
Is this right for me if I'm just starting out?
Yes. The plan works from any starting point. If you've never looked at GRE material, or you've already taken the test and need a retake, Vince builds the plan around where you are right now.
What GRE platforms does the plan use?
Whatever you're already using. If that's Gregmat, Magoosh, or official ETS materials, Vince picks out what's worth your time and cuts the rest. If you're starting fresh, he'll recommend the right resources for your situation.
How much time do I need to commit each day?
At least 90 minutes a day, but 2-3 hours a day is more realistic if you want to improve a lot. This plan is for people who can make GRE prep a consistent priority.
